Sunset Meadows Wedding in Corinna, Maine

I know many people have been craving to read some real words written by a real human. Well here is an awesome chance to read my words as I share this beautiful wedding with you. I had the pleasure to photograph a stunning and emotional Sunset Meadows Wedding in Corinna, Maine.

Growing up in Corinna, where I met the bride and used to ride the school bus with her for all of our school years. Many years later, Brittney reached out to me and asked if I could photograph her family. I was so excited to reconnect with her and meet her son and boyfriend. For the first family photo session held in 2018, she also brought her new little puppy Millie, whose name is short for Millinocket, one of their favorite towns in Maine.

This was such a wonderful photo session! A few years later, Brittney returned for more family photos in 2020 and I also met Jack, whose name is short for Jackman, another favorite town in Maine!

And again in 2021!

Something special to know about Brittney is that she is the mom to an angel, Ellie Mae. A daughter so deeply wanted in every way possible, was too beautiful for this earth, and passed before birth. She is a big part of their lives and a special part of our photo sessions ever since. They were able to create a beautiful shadow box of her photo and little belongings. Check out some of the photos we got of the family then.

And now the first image from this wedding that I will share is keeping with tradition and showing the photo of Ellie Mae with her family on their wedding day.

After being together for over a decade, Eric and Brittney finally got married. And yes I did use the word ‘Finally’ because they have known they were destined for forever since the beginning, so they saw no reason to rush into marriage. But finally the time was right after 11 years, and they got to celebrate their love in front of so many of those who they love and love them. This was a wedding I have been looking forward to for such a long time as well! They got married right in our hometown, Corinna, Maine at Sunset Meadows! I have always wanted to photograph a wedding right in my own hometown, and since Sunset Meadows opened a few years ago, I have been waiting patiently for my chance to photograph at such a beautiful wedding venue. Let me tell you, this place was even more than I had ever expected with so much work put into every detail, this location is everything you want if you are looking for an upscale countryside barn venue in Central Maine, this is it! This combined with the excellent skills that Brittney possesses’ in event planning, organizing, and designing, it made for the most amazing wedding to photograph.
