Robbins Hill Scenic Overlook Wedding
This is the story of a Robbins Hill Scenic Overlook Wedding! The hottest day this summer was literally 108 degrees at one point, but also the most beautiful day for this lovely couple to be married. I met Madeline and her bridesmaids at her soon-to-be-in-law’s house in Bingham. The ladies finished up their final touches, I captured some details as well as the stunning dress hanging in the doorway. Although everyone was sweating already, we were just so excited that the day was finally here! After getting dressed and gathering everything, we all left and headed towards Robbins Hill Scenic Overlook, where there was a tent set up with stunning table settings underneath.
Madeline and Jacob shared a first look and did their personalized vows privately with no one around. It was extra special, just the way they dreamed it would be. Afterward, we took breaks in front of the fan in the ten to cool off. This was a big part of the day, as I’ve been photographing weddings for over 8 years, this was literally the hottest one I’ve EVER photographed.
The couple had their ceremony and formal photos with the stunning views of Maine peaks in the background. Afterward, they served up a delicious Maine dinner including pulled pork, pulled chicken, coleslaw, potato salad, and mac and cheese!
As the sun set, I grabbed the couple and ran out to capture some stunning photographs of them together with the most beautiful colors in the sky and the mountains in the background too.
The couple danced with each other and their parents and had some awesome speeches made about them! For dessert, they served up some delicious donuts from the Holy Donut! It was a perfect and awesome day of celebrating their love!
