Palmyra Fall Family Photoshoot
Fall is the perfect time for family photos and is why you should book your palmyra fall family photoshoot. Public locations can be hard to find sometimes, so when we got access to this private land in Palmyra, Maine I was amazed at the views and COLORS! Also, I loved that they brought their beautiful black lab along for photos too! This was a very memorable photo session for me and them, and the photos show just that. Fall is my favorite time of year, and my favorite season to photo people in as well. I love unposed family photography, and just prompting people to interact with each other naturally creates genuine faces and emotions. This especially works great for kids instead of standing or sitting in one pose for a long time and being asked to display stiff smiles.
When we did these photos here, most of the state had already been past peak colors for autumn, but when I drove up onto this property I could NOT believe the beautiful colors were still preserved on the trees. Orange, yellow, and red galore, it was a miracle and a perfect background for this family! Sometimes the stars just align perfectly! Having fun is a big part of the way I do family sessions and all of my work. Making memories and creating work that reflects people who are genuinely happy in the moments I photo, is what I do. This is why people come to me to photograph their families, and for that, I am so thankful.
