Moosehead Lake Wedding
Moosehead Lake Wedding
A stunning and private Moosehead Lake Wedding was on my to-do list last week. The beautiful backdrop of Moosehead Lake in Greenville, Maine made for the perfect photos of these two lovers. Having been together for over 7 years, these two decided it was finally time to get married. Together with their 8 friends and 2 dogs, they celebrated their vows over a weekend on the lake. These two had a circle arch set up with flowers decorated perfectly, and an aisle lined with tree logs and tea light candles. The ceremony began just as the sun started to set, and the light was just right. They said their I do’s and sealed them with rings and a kiss. Everyone gathered for photos and celebrated with each other. If you have not been to a wedding on Moosehead Lake, I hope you get to someday! I cannot wait to go back and kayak the lake around the islands! We also visited a public docking area as well for some fun and windy photos. It was interesting that the lake was still partly frozen when other lakes just an hour away were clear of ice! I am so glad I got to witness this pair’s love and document their story as they made it official!
