Clarks Cove Farm & Inn
A stunning wedding in Walpole, Maine at Clark’s Cove Farm & Inn. This is the wedding of Melissa and Liam who have waited for over 2 years to finally have the day they have been dreaming of. Living across the border between countries while borders were closed, made their original plans impossible and their hearts shattered not being able to be with one another. I am so happy I was still available to finally photograph after 2 reschedules. The venue has an apple orchard next to ponds and a field being overlooked by the barn and altar. The views were so beautiful, especially at sunset time! A fun part of this wedding was knowing how many people flew over from Europe and also traveled from Canada to attend the wedding! This means a lot of the guests were francophones! I absolutely loved hearing so many people speaking french around me and made me wish I knew French! It’s incredible to me how people are able to translate between languages, which was done for the speeches, and if I needed to communicate with some of these guests, there was always someone nearby who could translate between us. It was a very unique experience. This venue was so beautiful and was really the perfect place for a wedding with so much diversity in the space. The barn and suite for the bride to get ready in were stunning. The bridal suite was two floors and located directly in the same building as the barn. The ceremony was held out behind another building with the orchard and ponds off in the distance in the background, including sheep! The reception was partly held out on the back lawn where chairs and tables were arranged beautifully against the tall pines backdrop.
After dinner and speeches, we went into the barn for dances and the cake cutting, finishing the night off with a rocking party!
