A small intimate wedding was not exactly what they had planned for but it turned out to be exactly the way it was meant to be. Kim and Jacob had a large extravagant wedding planned for next month, but as you all know Covid came in and threw a wrench into their plans. They couldn’t have all of their friends and family attend due to gathering size limitations. Kim booked with me over a year ago and was really upset with the ideas of having to change plans so many times this year, and she was so worried with each change, that I may not be available. All she wanted and cared most about with her big day, was making sure I could be there to photograph it. They finally decided to throw a small wedding last weekend, and then they will have a big celebration reception next year. I arrived to Kim’s mom’s house and snapped photos of her shoes, rings, and dress as she and her wedding party finished getting ready for the ceremony. Then everyone started to get their finishing touches done, dresses on, and began to make their way down the aisle. The ceremony was sweet and quick, and before you knew it, they were hitched with a kiss. Everyone congratulated the couple, and we did formal photos shortly after. The whole ceremony and toast after was shared online with distant family members who could not attend. Kim and Jacob stood under a tree as everyone cheers to their marriage and wonderful new life together as a married couple.
